Hello again friends! It’s hard to believe that we only have one more post until the end of the semester! I’m so excited that we are almost finished, but I’m also sad because this is my last semester as a mass communications student. I wish I could stay with my friends longer, but I feel lead to change my major. The semester has really flown by.
I’m sad that I won’t get the chance to shoot my commercial or ten minute show. This class has changed so much since we’ve had to move everything online. But I am grateful that that has resulted in less work for this course, at the expense of the two projects we’ve been building up to since January.
This week’s assignment was the Photo-Audio Story. I had a blast doing this assignment! It was so fun to make up a narrative and set it up in picture form. Mine is kind of silly because I wanted to use some toys I had laying around. It was cool to see different ways I can convey the message of a story without using video. I think the final product came out pretty good! (I just hope Dr. Matthews feels the same way). This was our last big assignment before the end of the semester, which is crazy to think about! All we have left of MCOM 2313 is one more blog post. To be honest, I mess coming into class every Tuesday and Thursday and goofing off with everyone. I wish we could all get together and do that one more time. But sadly, all good things must come to an end, as they say. I’m grateful that I was able to be a part of such a fun class! Thank you all for making so memorable.
